The New Cottage

Just 4 miles north of the City of Worcester and surrounded by charming countryside, Hallow is a lively village community with a church, small self-service store, village shop with post office, tennis courts and two pubs.

With views of the Malvern Hills, the village is bordered to the east by the River Severn and 'The New Cottage' is just a 10 minute walk away from the river, where there's a pub on the water's edge to quench your thirst! It is also surrounded by many public footpaths (one adjacent to the cottage), offering delightful walks around the village and further afield.

Situated at the entrance of our one acre home, 'The New Cottage' has it's own secluded paved garden with flowering tubs in the summer, garden furniture and barbecue and, to the east, delightful views over the Severn Valley. Guests are most welcome to stroll around our 1½ acre paddock, adjacent to the cottage (ideal for dogs). There is adequate off-road parking space.

The accommodation consists of a double and small single bedroom on the first floor, both fully furnished. On the ground-floor, as well as the kitchen and lounge/dining area, there is another fully furnished single-bedroom and spacious shower-room with toilet.

The well-equipped kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. For guests' convenience, there is a tumble-dryer and drying area situated in the workshop just 15 yards (13.5m) from 'The New Cottage' across the car parking space.

There is a colour TV and radio in the small, but comfortable lounge/dining area and information on local and regional places of interest is displayed there.

All rooms are heated by individual convector or fan heaters, controlled by the guests. Beds are made ready for your arrival with sheets and duvets. All towels and tea-towels are provided. If you stay for more than 7 days, 'The New Cottage' will be serviced on the 7th day and all linen will be replaced.
